Jordan Feagan (Advisor)

Jordan
is co-founder of Alliance Sports Management. As agent,
contract advisor and counsel to his clients for the past 17 years he
has worked with more than one hundred professional athletes. Among
Jordan’s blockbuster contracts are Jimmy Key’s 1990 Toronto Blue Jay
deal - the largest ever for a baseball pitcher at that time, Eric
Hill’s $11,000,000 contract in 1994 making him the highest paid
middle linebacker in the NFL, Terrance Shaw’s $17,150,000 extension
in 1998 - the largest contract ever paid a 3rd year NFL defensive
back, and deals totaling more than $18,000,000 in guaranteed
compensation for veteran Yankee pitcher Cory Lidle. In 2006
Jordan
negotiated the NFL’s top Free Agency contract for a defensive back,
totaling more than $32,000,000, including a $10,000,000 signing
bonus, for Jacksonville Jaguars’ Brian Williams. Most recently,
Jordan
positioned mixed martial arts client Dan Henderson into the first
UFC-PRIDE “Super” fight to determine the world’s undisputed Light
Heavyweight Champion. Together, Jordan and Glenn Schwartzman have
negotiated player contracts totaling over $150 million.
In 2002, Jordan
expanded Alliance Sports to Los Angeles where he began crossing
athletes into Hollywood, with his first significant success being
The Longest Yard where he placed 5 former athletes for significant
roles. In 2005, Jordan met and began personally managing Mark Ellis,
leading to his current position as co-founder and President of The
Sports Studio. Mark’s work as a director and coordinator of sports
action ranges from true-life stories Coach Carter, Invincible and We
Are Marshall to original comedies Mr. 3000, The Longest Yard and The
Game Plan.
Prior to organizing his own
sports management firm,
Jordan
worked three years as a corporate attorney in
Kansas City,
Missouri,
specializing in tax and business matters for firm clients such as
General Motors and
AMC
Theaters.
Jordan
received his law degree from
SMU
and his undergraduate degree in civil engineering from the
University
of Texas
at
Austin.
Jordan
is certified as a contract advisor by both the National Football
League Players Association and the Major League Baseball Players
Association.
Jordan
works from his offices in
Nashville
and
Los Angeles.
